Membership
Membership in HUU is a personal choice to be in covenant with a community of others who care for each other while we work together for justice and peace, both in our congregation and in the world.
Individuals wishing to become members of HUU are invited to meet with our Membership Team to discuss their interest. Membership informational meetings are offered quarterly. Commitments to creeds or specific beliefs are not required for membership, though all members agree to uphold our covenant and UU values.

Membership ceremonies are small, informal meetings where groups of new members sign our membership book, a symbolic act of entering into convenant with our community. We hold these ceremonies a few times per year.

Members are able to vote in congregational meetings. Members fulfill the mission of our church through regular volunteering and, as they are able, donations and pledges, which help sustain our mission and ministries.
